Nosbisch Family Rules Late Model Feature at Eastbay
The South Shore Auto Sales Late Models were 25 cars strong, and strong couldn’t begin to describe the racing that took place for their 30 Lap Feature Event. With one of the strongest field s ever at an Eastbay race, it was certain to be one to remember. Fan favorite David Schmauss started 3rd, but an early accident would drop him back in the field. Eastbay veteran Keith Nosbisch started 16th, but by lap 4, was running 2nd behind the #12 of Jack Nosbisch who won the previous week. They swapped the lead back and forth, running through lapped traffic in a timeless battle of the titans. Keith finally made his way around Jack to pick up his 1st win of the year. Jackie finished 2nd, Jeff Mathews 3rd, Rich Pratt 4th and Travis Varnadore rounded out the top 5.
