2009 Sheriff’s Golf Classic Scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2009
Join Pasco Sheriff Bob White at the 2009 Pasco Sheriff’s Golf Classic scheduled at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club for the fifth year in a row. The golf tournament will take place on Monday, November 2, 2009, using Lake Jovita’s south course. The rain date, if needed, will be two weeks later, on November 16.
This is the second year that golfers can register and pay for their tournament registration via the Internet. Players will also be able to mail in their registration by printing a form.
Golfers who would like to participate in the 2009 tournament need to have their entry fee and registration forms received no later than October 30, 2009.
The cost to participate is $150 per person or $600 per foursome. Included in the price will be breakfast rolls and juice, 18 holes of golf, followed by a catered, sit-down luncheon at Lake Jovita’s fine dining area.
Proceeds from the Sheriff’s Golf Classic funds valuable youth programs through Pasco Sheriff’s Charities, Inc. a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation, set up by Pasco Sheriff Bob White. Some of the programs helped by the charity event have included the Pasco Police Athletic League, Youth Services Program, Explorer’s Post, Safety Town, the anti-drug awareness program D.A.R.E., and Gang Resistance Education and Training (GREAT).
