Charity motorcycle ride, silent auction, 50/50 drawing, bike show, poker crawl
and bikini bike wash to help community

TAMPA, FLORIDA – APRIL 22, 2010: Syndicated and satellite radio host Bubba the Love Sponge®’s second annual “Bubba’s Bikes for Badges” (www.bubbasbikesforbadges.com) fundraiser is set for Saturday, May 22 from 10 am to 2 pm ET at Jim’s Harley-Davidson, 2805 54th Avenue North in St. Petersburg, Florida.

“Bubba’s Bikes for Badges” will feature a charity motorcycle ride, a silent auction with memorabilia donated by various athletes and celebrities, a 50/50 raffle, a poker crawl with a $2,500 cash prize, a bike show, and a bikini bike wash.

Attendees including motorcycle enthusiasts, radio listeners, members of the Bubba Army and many members of the community helped make the 2009 inaugural “Bubba’s Bikes for Badges” event a great success. “It’s really fun, and it helps support the fine men and women who protect our community while putting their lives at risk on a daily basis,” said the Tampa-based, top-rated syndicated and satellite radio personality.

“Bubba’s Bikes for Badges” will again produce funds for The Bubba the Love Sponge® Foundation, the 501(3) (c) Florida charity he founded in 2008 to help raise awareness and channel donations to worthy community causes and victims. Among its donations was more than $50,000 distributed within the past year to the families of four Tampa Bay area law enforcement members who lost their lives or were critically injured in the line of duty.

Advance registration for “Bubba’s Bikes for Badges” is $30 ($40 day of event), and can be made online at www.bubbasbikesforbadges.com. Corporate and listener donations can also be made at the site.

Onsite registration for riders and vehicles on May 22 will open at 8:30 am. Additional exciting ride details, including routes, riders and special guests, will be revealed soon.

Official event sponsors are Jim’s Harley-Davidson, Suncoast PBA, 102.5 The Bone, Miller Lite, Winters and Yonkers, Stingray Chevrolet, The Car Store, Born To Ride TV, 800-Ask Gary, Full Throttle Magazine, Buddy’s Home Furnishings, The Print Concierge and WingHouse.
