Shaw, 45, is facing a grand theft charge.

(KSAT.COM) SAN ANTONIO – A suspect identified as Regina Shaw, 45, has lost her job and now is facing criminal charges for allegedly stealing $6,400 worth of sausage from her employer, the Kiolbassa Provision Company.

An arrest affidavit stated that a representative of the company notified San Antonio police that Shaw had been caught on surveillance cameras on Sept. 14, taking a pallet of products out of the business without permission.

The affidavit stated that the stolen sausage was valued at more than $6,400.

It stated that the company representative also presented police with a written statement from a man who said Shaw had sold him some of the stolen sausage on one occasion, then gave him more later to repay a debt she owed to him.

Police later spoke with that man and showed him Shaw’s picture in a photo lineup.

They said he identified her as the unauthorized sausage seller. Shaw was arrested Tuesday on a charge of theft.
