Texas man stabbed girlfriend in the buttocks with pitchfork

Nunez, 59, is facing aggravated assault charges.

(KSAT.COM) SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A man was arrested early Monday morning after he was accused of stabbing his girlfriend with a pitchfork in south Bexar County.

Bexar County sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident around 4 a.m. at a home in the 16100 block of Rosa Street.

Deputies said 59-year-old Antonio Nunez and his girlfriend were fighting when Nunez stabbed her in the buttocks area with the pitchfork.

The victim pepper sprayed Nunez after the assault, deputies said. She was transported to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Nunez was not seriously injured, but is facing aggravated assault charges, BCSO officials said.
