Suspect steals surveillance camera from Punta Gorda business

The man ripped the camera from its post according to investigators.


(BTLS Staff) PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – Investigators with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office are on the lookout for a man who stole a surveillance camera from a business in Punta Gorda.

The unidentified suspect took the item from Pineapple Storage in the 25000 block of Marion Ave. just after 11 pm on February 10th.

According to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office report the man approached the camera just before the feed went dark. Evidence collected at the scene indicates the camera was ripped from its post and removed.
