Woman Drives Around With Body Of Sister-In-Law
Rialto – Police say a woman shot and killed her sister-in-law, then drove around a Southern California neighborhood for hours with the body slumped in the victim’s car.
Rialto police Lt. Joe Cyril says officers found 48-year-oldSandra Lee Kotz armed and pacing in the street early Sunday. Shethen led officers several blocks to a Dodge Neon, where they found the body of 58-year-old Ellen Ann Belays of Yucaipa.
Kotz was arrested and booked for investigation of murder.
The lieutenant says police were called by Kotz’s sister, who lives out of state, to report Kotz told her she’d killed their sister-in-law and had been driving around for several hours with the body in the car. The location of the shooting and the motive wasn’t clear.
