    I was there and watched in horror. The second crash, she was doing 260mph through the lights.Thankfully they both walked away

    Wow, it’s too bad Kalitta had to die to get the changes made at that track. I always thought the short run off was a death trap. But i am glad to see those 2 drivers safe and sound.

    Thanks for posting this video! It’s great to see that, as unfortunate as it is when people die in a sport, that they do not die in vain.

    These fences were up when Scott Kalitta tragically died, Kalitta died because he hit the pole for the safety fence. The fence was there, but if you hit the pole, theres not much that can be done.

    Pete, the run off at Englishtown is nowhere near how it was when SK was killed last year.

    It’s just sad when a hero dies to make a sport safe. Look at all Nascar did after Dale Earnhardt Sr passed. McDowell is all I have to bring to mind last year in Tx.

    Still after watching this viedo as fast as the cars are still running the shut down area of Englishtown is still to short to be safe. They shouldn’t be running at this track for safety reasons.
