This is a problem that st.pete is going to have to deal with. especially in the last decade or so the city has wanted to come on to its own and grow. With the weather and expanding city life we now have big city problems. deal with it or become LA which has a literal shanty town. williams park could easily become that if the city does not change its policies. im from st.pete and i dont think there are that many homeless. travel to other metro areas and you will see what im talking about. Get a job, some kinda of job and quit being a frigging bum!! I carry generic job applications in my console solely for street side panhandlers and I DO hand one to them when they approach my truck for a handout. They get mad!! as for the disabled bums, and I mean DISABLED not the cons that only where leg-braces when they're bumming money and you see them the next day throwing a football around in an abandon Winn Dixie parking lot, the truly disabled, there are systems for people like that. Go after the system if they don't comply and screen these bums and make sure there's no way for them to work BEFORE giving them a dime. Or throw them out of town. They trash our downtown parks and make me scared to walk the streets during day much-less night without being hassled for change.
