Space shuttle Endeavour to fly over Tucson in honor of Gabby Giffords

The space shuttle Endeavor will fly over the city of Tucson, Arizona in honor of former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Giffords’ husband, Mark Kelly, commanded the shuttle’s last mission and reportedly requested the flyover for his wife, MyFoxPhoenix.com reports.

Emdeavour’s life in the skies is coming to an end, but before the shuttle reaches its final destination, the California Science Center, she’ll say goodbye to a number of her NASA crew members and support staff, from Houston to the NASA testing grounds in New Mexico, after a pit stop in El Paso.

And now Tucson has been added to the list.
