Rush Limbaugh rushed to hospital

January 4th, 2010 by – Hawaii’s KITV television station reports that conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a hospital yesterday with chest pains.
Citing unnamed sources, the local TV station said the outspoken talk show king was in serious condition at Honolulu’s Queen’s Medical Center after being treated at a hotel by paramedics.
The gossip web site TMZ has confirmed paramedics did respond to the Kahala at 2:41 to attend to someone with “chest discomfort.”
Limbaugh, long an influencial voice on the American political landscape, was vacationing in Hawaii.
In 2003, the radio talk show host was accused of buying thousands of illicit prescription pills, which he said helped curtail pain from a back operation. As a result, Limbaugh checked into rehab.
He is one of the most listened to talk radio host in the country with an estimated 14 million weekly listeners. His show airs locally on WABC (770 AM).
