Police find crack, $200K buried in backyard

ATHENS, AL (WAFF) – Authorities are on the scene of a large drug bust in Athens, AL.

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department, Madison Police and Madison County Sheriff’s Department are searching a house at 1309 Hines Street.

One person has been arrested. Investigators say the operation’s ring leader, Tracy Holt, is in custody. A baby was found at the scene, but the child was allowed to go with the mother.

Drug agents found crack cocaine buried in the back yard along with more than $200,000 in mason jars. They are digging up the yard to search for more evidence.
