www.myfoxorlando.com –OVIEDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) – An Oviedo man was taken into custody by federal agents on Friday morning on child-pornography charges. Agents said they had executed a search warrant at the home of Samuel Shamba Warlick, 39, and located images of child pornography on his computer.

Subsequently, U.S. Attorney Robert E. O’Neill filed a criminal complaint charging Warlick with distribution and possession of child pornography.

According to the criminal complaint and affidavit, Warlick distributed approximately 40 images of child pornography to a law enforcement agent using a peer-to-peer file sharing program over the internet.

A criminal complaint is merely a formal charge that a defendant has committed a violation of the federal criminal laws, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless, and until, proven guilty.

FOX 35 was there as the FBI raided a home the Pecan Street in Oviedo. Three hours after being inside the home the innocent images task force escorted Warlick out in handcuffs and put him into the back of an unmarked car.

“It’s scary. It’s too close to home,” said one neighbor as he watched from the street.

The Innocent Images Task Force works undercover online to protect children. According to the federal agents, Warlick distributed 40 child porno pictures to under cover federal agents.

Agents confiscated two computers and what appeared to be several portable and external hard drives. Knowing who arrested him, neighbors are freaked out. “I just want to know who he is and hopefully hes not coming back into the neighborhood,” said a neighbor who would not tell us his name.

Warlick appeared in federal court Friday afternoon and was ordered to be jailed until a hearing next week. If convicted on all counts, Warlick faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in federal prison.
