Ohio exotic dancer indicted in dragging death

CINCINNATI (AP) — An exotic dancer was indicted Tuesday on murder and other charges in the death of a man authorities say she dragged over a mile under her SUV.

Kristina Hensley, 35, of Higginsport, was indicted in Butler County Common Pleas Court in Hamilton on two different murder counts and one count each of aggravated robbery and failure to stop after an accident in the death of Jae Cho, 31, of Monroe. Monroe is about 25 miles north of Cincinnati.

Cho was trapped under Hensley’s vehicle on Aug. 7 and dragged until Hensley came to a stop at a gas station, a statement released by Butler County Prosecutor Robin Piper said.

“It is an event that never should have happened, and Ms. Hensley is responsible for the death of Jae Cho,” Piper said.

Court records did not list an attorney for Hensley, who was jailed in Butler County. If convicted of murder, she could get up to life in prison, Piper said.

Police have said Hensley was hired for a private show at Cho’s home and that she told officers he kept touching her inappropriately and jumped in front of her sport utility vehicle when she tried to drive away.

A police officer reported that Hensley told officers she felt something and heard something underneath her vehicle, but was unaware that Cho had become stuck under her SUV as she drove to the gas station for help, the Hamilton JournalNews reported.

I wonder if there were any witnesses. If not, this chick might spend her life in prison because some jackass was getting out of hand and all she wanted to do was get away. Is she really expected to stop and help somebody that might have been chasing her and stop her from leaving. This sounds like a tough case and could easily go either way.
