Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy Get Married in Private Manhattan Ceremony

November 30th, 2015 by Staff

It’s official! Mary-Kate Olsen and fiance Olivier Sarkozy exchanged vows and became husband and wife in an intimate Manhattan ceremony on Friday, Nov. 27, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

The pair, who got engaged in February 2014, married before approximately 50 guests in an outdoor garden at a private residence before the fete moved indoors, where the newlyweds and their family and friends dined.

According to the source, the ceremony was “small and lovely,” and both the pair’s parents were in attendance.

Olsen, 29, and Sarkozy, 46, first stepped out together in 2012, and have since been mainstays in the New York City social scene, often spotted sitting courtside at basketball games or strolling through the streets together.

They currently live together in a $6.25 million townhouse in the city.

Olsen first rose to fame in the ‘80s with twin sister Ashley, sharing the role of Michelle Tanner on the hit sitcom Full House. This is her first marriage.

Sarkozy, who is the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, was previously married to Charlotte Bernard, with whom he shares two children.

“Mary-Kate has made him a better father. She remembers all the kids’ special events,” a source previously told Us of the couple. “She thinks he’s a great dad.”
