Source: Beverly Hills Courier — Lindsay Lohan has been released on $300,000 bail after spending most of Friday in the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood for failing a mandatory drug test earlier this month, according to celebrity Web site TMZ.

Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox, who earlier this week revoked the 24-year-old actress’ probation, declined during a morning hearing to set bail and scheduled an Oct. 22 probation hearing.

He ordered that Lohan remain jailed until that hearing.

But Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, filed an appeal late today asking that the actress be allowed to post bail.

At about 6 p.m., Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg agreed, and set bail for Lohan at $300,000, which has now been paid.

Schnegg said that now that Lohan has posted bail, she must refrain from drinking alcohol and be fitted with an alcohol-detecting SCRAM device within 24 hours of her release from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood.

Lohan must also stay out of places where alcohol is the primary item being sold.

She also must not be in possession of any controlled substances, except with a valid prescription, according to Schnegg’s order.
