Lesnar smashes Mir

Boo all you want, Brock Lesnar doesn’t give a damn. And even though he’s moved over the world of fake wrestling, this isn’t an act, he is one scary and surly man. Lesnar brutalized Frank Mir for seven minutes before unleashing 14 unanswered punches to Mir’s face while he had him pinned on the ground against the Octagon cage. Referee Herb Dean had to jump in to save Mir before he suffered serious head trauma at 1:48 of the second round.

But the story of the fight came in the moments just after the finish.

Lesnar walked across the cage and got in the dazed face of Mir, “Talk all the [expletive] you want now,” he said. The 11,000-plus booed loudly as Lesnar walked away from Mir. Lesnar responded by flipping off the crowd.

There was a lot of trash talk on both sides leading up to the fight. But it seemed to rub Lesnar the wrong way. Mir is a little more eloquent and often described Lesnar as a moron and an oaf who only won because of his size.

Lesnar didn’t shy away from utilizing that size. He quickly got the fight to the mat in the opening round and mauled Mir. The 6-foot-4, 275-pounder buried punches into Mir’s face as he controlled his left arm. By the end of the first, Mir’s face looked like it had already been through five rounds.
The anger didn’t subdied with the comment to Mir. Lesnar really turned it on in the cage with UFC color voice Joe Rogan saying he loved the booing.

“Frank Mir had a horseshoe up his [expletive]. I told him a year ago,” Lesnar commenting on his loss in their first fight at UFC 81. Mir submitted Lesnar with a knee bar in the fight. “I pulled it out of him and I beat him over the head with it.”

Lesnar went into overdrive: “I’m going to drink a Coors Light. That’s right a Coors,” Lesnar then looked down at the Bud Light logo on the mat. “Bud Light don’t pay me nothing.”

Lesnar closed by remarking that he’s going to celebrate with friends tonight and that he may even “get on top of his wife tonight.”

A very beat up Mir was incredibly humble in defeat:

“He did a good job of neutralizing me in the stand-up. I got against the cage in a bad position, bad move against a guy that big and strong. I guess I still have more stuff to work on.”

Lesnar is only five fights into his pro mixed martials arts career but he looks like he could the biggest star in the sport.

Bit cocky yes considering the Coors reference .. but as to giving the tall man to the crowd, is he suppose to let them say what they want..
They have there freedom to speak there mind… and so does he

If they had a ton of talking between the two, he seems to be showing the last laugh.
I believe he has the right to

Arrogance is the name of the game, but for a fighter to shit on a sponsor is wrong .

Dana should deal with it queitly by just not offering this guy another fight.

It is one thing to defeat your opponent but once the other fighter is in that condition the agressor should respect his sport and art by backing it down .

He won for sure but I feel the extra agression was not needed…..

OMG, Vince Mcmahon’s monster is out on the streets destroying everybody! I predict when Fedor finally comes to the UFC and faces Brock for the title, that’s the day BrockMania would be born! Brock would become an instant baby face fighting the Red Russian (almost like Rocky Balboa vs Ivan Drago). I hope they would be smart enough to make that fight happen right in Minnesota. So ask yourself one question: What you gonna do, Fedor when Brock Lesnar destroys you!?

    Dear Bubba,

You have to invite both Kurt and Brock to the show and put them in the Bubbagon. And Let Hogan come out of nowhere and kick both of their asses. So we can all chant Hogan Hogan! Just kiddging :p

lesner is the real deal. mir got it bad. you don’t talk shiz wit a z to brock saying thats my belt. he called him out after that fight. for real what do you think was going to happen in that fight really.. mir had no chance. neither does fadore from pride. period. until he steps into the cage i have no respect for him.

I loved everything about th UFC until saturday night I think Lesner is a first class ASS MMA is about discipline and respect none of which Lesner showed. He has alot of talent but no brains or respect, and as for Bud Light the UFC’s main sponsor I would be pissed. But this may be a good thing because there really is only two people out there that could shut Lesners mouth and maybe now the UFC will dip alittle deeper in there pockets to bring them over.

I was getting bored with the UFC until I watched this pay-per-view!! Brock brought a little excitement back into the UFC.

While trash talk often happens between two fighters prior to fighting, sportsman like conduct is still expected. MMA is a great sport and Lesner is disgracing it acting as if he is still promoting himself in WWE. Lesner is low class, disrespectful, and is in need of a humbling experience. He needs to realize what the sport is all about and get away from his WWE past. There were some great fights at UFC 100, the Mir/Lesner was not one of them.

He’s a rookie champion someone well teach him right from wrong i mean come on he was drinking a budlight in his post interviews wtf…… back peddler……. save my ass…damage control…..

Fedor would DESTROY Lesnar. Stand up, on the mat, it simply would not matter. The fight will not go past the first round.

All this talk about sportsmanship (or lack there of) with Lesner, let’s not forget Henderson nailing Bisping while he was clearly ou cold and admitting it was done with intent to make sure he was “shut up”

lsener is not a chapion. A champion has some class to him. He may have the belt, but he’ll never be a real champion. He’s like the snot nosed school yard bully. I’ll never pay for any pay per view with that man in the lineup. He uses his wieght and has no technique. The man is, big and that’s all he has going for him. How many times did he hit frank mir, before he knocked him out? He’s so big, but seems he can’t do the dammage bj penn can do. the man has nothing to offer the sport. I’m sure his punchs hurt, but is that all he can do. And his mouth needs to be delt with. many fighters had things to say about the other guy, but they don’t get in his face after a win like he did that night. His daddy needs to give him the whippin he should get. I can’t wait till #3.

I gotta say Bubba kinda sucks for criticizing Brock… I mean what kind of professional wrestling fan would dis Lesnar for his acting like a professional wrestler? Bubba thinks he is better than Lesnar? Like he’s a better person than others like he always likes to believe in his delusion? I mean aren’t you the guy who brings in poor misguided girls(like porn girls) and call them whores and make them look like they were piece of garbage on your show for your own selfish gain? Ya bubba, you are waaaaay above Brock Lesnar. *cough* Pig Bullshit *cough*
Now you can go kiss that hooked nose’s ass again. We all know you’re a closet case homo. What a f***ing low life.
