ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando attorney was arrested Monday, accused of trying to buy hundreds of oxycodone pills.

Anthony McDonald was busted by undercover agents in the parking lot of a Goodwill store on Michigan Avenue, according to police.

He allegedly purchased 300 of the pain pills, and gave an undercover Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation agent more than $1,300 in cash.

The 29-year-old attorney deals in bankruptcy and real estate cases. He’s the managing partner of McDonald Law Associates in downtown Orlando.

“It just brings down the community. It’s abuse,” said Chris Grindley, who works in the same building as McDonald.
MBI agents wouldn’t say what McDonald planned to do with the pills.

He was charged with felony trafficking, because he bought 30 grams of the drugs, according to the arrest report.
If convicted, he could spend 25 years in prison.

I know Tony McDonald personally and I assure you that he was not trafficking pills. He also does not have a drug problem. Tony McDonald is an excellent attorney.
