Source: Orlando Sentinel — A road-rage incident on Interstate 4 near downtown Orlando led to a shooting on the busy highway this morning.

Numerous shots were fired on westbound I-4 between Princeton Street and Conroy Road just before noon today after a BMW reportedly cut off a man driving a Volkswagen Passat.

The driver of the Passat, 34-year-old Frank Prince, became irate and pulled out his .40-caliber Smith & Wesson and fired several rounds into the passenger’s side of the BMW, spokeswoman Sgt. Barbara Jones said.

No one was hurt, but several bullet holes punctured the side of the BMW. The identity of the BMW driver was not released.

Prince exited the highway near the Mall at Millenia and was arrested a short time later near Kirkman Road and Metrowest Boulevard. Police found the gun inside the car and took it as evidence, Jones said. A woman in Prince’s car was not charged.

Prince will be booked into the Orange County Jail later today on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and shooting into a conveyance.
