www.tnawrestling.com – “Hulkamania” is back! The biggest name in professional wrestling history, Hulk Hogan, is joining Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling (TNA), the fastest rising wrestling organization in the world and home to one of cable television’s highest rated shows for young men, TNA iMPACT! The announcement was made today by TNA Wrestling in conjunction with Spike TV at a press conference held in New York City.
“Hulk Hogan is one of the world’s top pop culture icons and the biggest superstar in the history of professional wrestling. We are truly excited to welcome him into the TNA family,” said Dixie Carter, President of TNA Wrestling. “Our goal is to become the world’s biggest professional wrestling company. Hulk defines professional wrestling and we look forward to partnering with him in a variety of ways as we continue to grow TNA globally.”
“I’m thrilled to be jumping back into the world of professional wrestling,” said Hogan. “My fans have been asking me to return to the business for many years on a full time basis, but the timing or the opportunity has never been right until now. TNA Wrestling is a great company with an already excellent fan base, business and broadcast partner. I firmly believe now is the time for some change at TNA as they are positioned to jump to the next level in their development and I’m here to work with Dixie to help make that a reality.”
Through Hogan’s partnership with Bischoff Hervey Entertainment Television, the deal with TNA was negotiated by longtime Hogan colleague Eric Bischoff. Additionally, BHE TV has inked a first-look deal with TNA and will be working with the organization to develop new programming extensions of the TNA brand.
“Hulk Hogan adds yet another level of star power that positions TNA iMPACT as Spike TV’s version of ‘Must-See TV’ on Thursday nights,” said Kevin Kay, president of Spike.
Hogan most recently penned an autobiography with Mark Dagostino, “My Life Outside The Ring” with St. Martin’s Press.

Glad to see Hootie back, But TNA needs big changes the ring is gay, Bubba is dead on Vince Russo’s writing sucks. Even Terry cant save TNA without a massive overhaul. fast rising stated in press release ha, they cant even give away free tics to shows at universal orlando. Does Dixie’s gag order on TNA talent talking to Bubba apply to HOOTIE??

Hulk Hogan, you rock this world. To one of the most profound, down-2-earth, common sensed professional sports superstars EVER, best wishes 2 you Hulkster. I’m 43, and have followed you since the days of Gordon Solie, and you are the ” real deal”, defining the sport of wrestling. No one could deny the hell you have been put thru the last few years between your ex wife, son, and everything else – a so here’s 2 you doing nothing but rising up, and going out on top. You deserve nothing else. Good luck man!!!

What the hell does Mark Madden have against Bubba? Quoted from wrestlezone.com Mark Madden’s new article:
“I can’t wait to see what Hogan cronies populate TNA. I can’t wait for Hogan to leg-drop Kurt Angle in the battle of American heroes. I can’t wait for Bubba the Love Sponge to send Mike Tenay back to busing slot machines at the Gold Coast. I can’t wait for Ed Leslie to beat A.J. Styles, or for Brian Knobbs to pin Samoa Joe. I can’t wait for Hogan to suck TNA dry, then search for his next mark like the locust he is.”

This is stupid, why does everyone thing that a over the hill has been named Hulk Hogan can do anything in wrestling anymore, the last time he was in the ring it was so sad that it was hard to watch, and he is not even close to be smart enough to be useful in the office or behind the scenes, so do the world a favor and quit making this guy thing he is anything more than someone that needs to just go away and make wrestling watchable for everyone

wow this is going to be good for tna. I am so sick and tired of vince macmahon putting out crap on his shows for the last three years. Hogan will give lots of fans a reason to tune into tna.

How long before Hogan and Bischoff run this company into the ground? They did it with WCW. I can’t agree anymore with Mark Madden. History always repeats itself and i don’t see this being any different. Bischoff is a low life piece of shit. Which wrestler will he sue and make their life miserable? AJ Styles??? Kurt Angle??? Hogan is WAY past his prime but they’ll make it look as if he’s unbeatable with his 3 minute matches. He’ll spend more time posing, and playing the crowd, than he will actually wrestle. It’ll be like watching a bad rerun. It won’t be long before TNA goes defunct or Vince McMahon buys it for pennies to the dollar, just like he did with WCW.

Terry,
Great to have you back. TNA is an exctiting company but was missing something – something even Kurt and Stinger could not bring. Your presence will help push TNA to the next level. PLease see what you can do about that sucky ring!!! And always remenber the young guys – AJ is our future.
