ORANGE PARK, Fla. — The film crew of “Girls Gone Wild” made a stop at Club Liquid in Orange Park on Friday night. The club owners said it was a promotional event.

“It doesn’t hurt having the promotion, having the bus out and people seeing the the name and associating us with a national brand like Girls Gone Wild,” Club Liquid manager Rus Disparti told Channel 4′s Scott Johnson.

“Girls Gone Wild” is known for nudity, but Disparti said everything that happened inside Club Liquid was in accordance with the Clay County adult entertainment ordinance.

Disparti said Club Liquid had nothing to do with what happened on the “Girls Gone Wild” bus.

Club patrons said having the bus in Orange Park definitely brought more people out, but not everyone was happy Girls Gone Wild was in town, and some had concerns about the girls who chose to participate.

Clay County resident Tonya Brown said, “I don’t think they should. Personally, I wouldn’t.”

Sheriff’s deputies were inside Club Liquid and made sure nothing illegal took place.

The Girls Gone Wild bus has been in Clay County several times since 2007.
