January 7th, 2010 by – After complaining that he didn’t feel well, “Diff’rent Strokes” star Gary Coleman was taken by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital earlier this morning, the gossip web site TMZ reports.
Robert Malcolm, Coleman’s agent told the press that the 41 year-old sitcom star went to his hotel room to rest after some interviews. The actor was in California promoting a project called “Midgets vs. Mascots.”
TMZ says that before 911 was called, Coleman’s friend saw him sitting on his bed and said Coleman had what “looked like a seizure”
No stranger to health problems, the pint-sized actor has had two kidney transplants. He starred as orphaned Arnold Jackson on the popular 1980s sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes.”
His agent says tests were negative and Coleman was alert and feeling fine but may remain hospitalized overnight before returning to his Utah home.
