TAMPA - Dontae Morris was indicted with a total of four murders by a grand jury Thursday.

In addition to two counts of first degree murder for the June 29th shootings of Officer Jeffrey Kocab and Officer David Curtis, Morris has also been indicted for the May murder of 21-year-old Derek Anderson and the June murder of 25-year-old Harold Wright.

Police say Anderson’s murder stemmed from an attempted robbery.

Morris was also charged with possession of a firearm and attempting to escape while being transported.

Morris will be arraigned on the charges before Judge Daniel Sleet next Tuesday.
