Child Porn Arrest Made In Neptune Beach

NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. – A Neptune Beach man is behind bars after police arrested him Tuesday afternoon on 10 counts of possession of child pornography. Stephan Charles Barrow is also facing nine counts of computer pornography after a computer was taken from his home.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office report states Barrow’s computer was full of sexually-oriented images of pre-teen children. Police began to look into Barrow in November, when they were working on an undercover operation to find people using software to traffic child pornography. Police traced an Internet address for sharing illegal images to Barrow’s home.
Forensic analysts found 500 images on Barrow’s computer, and police said 144 of them were child pornography. Analysts said the child pornography had been downloaded between June 2009 and January 2010. Barrow turned himself in to Neptune Beach Police and is now being held in Duval County Jail on $70,000 bail.
