Bubba the Love Sponge® on Gay Day at Disney

June 15th, 2011 by Staff

www.wtsp.com — Since 1991, the first Saturday of June has been known as Gay Day at Disney. It’s a day the gay and lesbian community comes together on to wear red and be seen while visiting the world’s most popular theme park. This year, The Florida Family Association flew a banner saying, “Warning: Gay Day at Disney.”

“If gay people want to wear red shirts and go to the park, then, who really cares?”

102.5 The Bone’s Bubba the Love Sponge® is telling you like it is, because nobody else will.

“As a park that’s open to the public, Disney can’t refuse admission to people based on race, religion, or sexual orientation.”

See what else he has to say in the video.

Since the original Gay Day in the early 90′s, the annual event has expanded to a week-long celebration in the Orlando area known as Gay Days.

That was well spoken and straight to the point. I’m sure all the soccer mans and over bearing mother hens have there feathers in a ruffled mess. Great Job, keep it up.
