Source: The Washington Post — Brett Favre met with the media for the first time since he was interviewed by an NFL official as part of its investigation into allegations that he sexted graphic photos and left inappropriate voice mails for Jenn Sterger when both were employed by the New York Jets in 2008.

“That’s a league issue that I just have to leave at that,” Favre said, when asked about his discussion with Milt Ahlerich, the NFL’s vice president for security. He added that he will “let that process work itself out.”

Meanwhile, the NFL, according to a tweet by Peter King of Sports Illustrated, has contacted Deadspin, which first reported the allegations.

Minnesota Vikings Coach Brad Childress was no more forthcoming, saying he was not authorized to discuss the investigation.
