Antonio Cromartie Tries To Remember His Kids

August 20th, 2010 by Staff

Source: sports.spreadit.org — Antonio Cromartie is known for having the longest play in NFL history, and now has his eyes on a new NFL record; having eight children by seven different mothers in seven different states. As of now, there is no NFL player that has more children than Cromartie. He returned a missed field goal for 109 yards and a touchdown on November 4th, 2007.

That many kids surely amounts to quite a bit in child support. He spoke about all of his kids in a recent episode of “Hard Knocks” which chronicles the Jets training camp, and basically stole the show on the episode. He was a huge star in San Diego with the Chargers, but has recently had some problems covering receivers and decided that he wanted to restart his career in New York. At only 26 years old, he should have quite a bit of football in front of him.

He tore his ACL in 2005, and hasn’t quite looked like the same player since that time, but has seen some success in the NFL. Despite the fact that he had not played football in over a year, he was selected with the 19th pick in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft. He signed a 5 year, $12.5 million contract with over seven million in guaranteed money upon his arrival in the NFL.
