Spring Hill man regrets wardrobe decision following drug arrest

(BTLS Staff) HUDSON – A Spring Hill man is facing drug charges following his arrest Monday night at a K-Mart location in Hudson.

At the time John Richard Balmer was wearing a black t-shirt that said “Who needs drugs. No, seriously I have drugs.”

According to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office report Balmer is facing one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of marijuana possession. He was booked into the Pasco County Jail and released after posting a bond of $2,150.

Balmer is no stranger to law enforcement. He has an arrest record that goes back more than a decade. Balmer has served one stint in state prison for a burglary and trafficking in stolen property conviction out of Lake County.
