Sarasota behavioral psych tech arrested on sexual misconduct charges

Henry, 27, is being held on a bond of $500,000 at the Sarasota County Jail.

(BTLS Staff) SARASOTA, Fla. – Sarasota Police have arrested a 27-year-old Port Charlotte man on two felony counts of lewd battery.

Jeremy Henry was booked into the Sarasota County Jail where he is being held on a bond of $500,000.

According to a Sarasota Police Department report the crimes involve two separate patients at the Bayside Center for Behavioral Health where the suspect worked as a ‘psych tech.’

Henry was arrested on Friday.

Investigators say the first report of sexual misconduct was filed with SPD on January 21st. The second came in on January 28th the report states. Both victims are 15-year-old females.

The alleged crimes with the first victim are believed to have started around January 8th and continued for approximately one week. The second victim reported misconduct occurring about the same time with the first victim present.
