Recap by Blind Lawrence

Segment 1 – Coming up on the show

The show started off with “Thunder Struck” by A/DC. Bubba came on
saying that according to the new ratings system, it would make sense
to just let the whole song play. After the song, Bubba came on talking
about what will be coming up on the show; he then said Chris Kelly is
the Facebook listener of the day. They then went to commercials a few
seconds later.

Segment 2 – Emails

Coming out of commercials, we heard a promo for Early Enlistment,
followed by “Give It Away Now” from The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Bubba
came on saying a majority of the emails were about Go Davis, he asked
for Brent to pay attention, Spice said this is like the show’s
relationship with Warren Sapp. Chuck in Braington asked what was up
with the music, Bubba said they’re keeping corporate happy. The first
email said that Lesley Curran and Goliath Davis have been romantically
involved for years. Another email said that when Davis was part of the
police force, the vice guys were given a 24-48 hour notice on a bust.
Bubba said that a cop emailed him saying the cop in the Davis DUI
video did it by the book, he doesn’t think that’s the case; they then
went to commercials a few seconds later.

Segment 3 – officers comment on the Goliath Davis dui video

Coming out of commercials, we heard a promo for the Bubba Army Android
App, followed by “Wicked Garden”” by Stone Temple Pilots. Bubba came
back saying that maybe this music format will work out, as Ned gets a
chance to cat nap for the show, he then read the email he
received in regards to the DUI video, he said that he respectfully
diss agrees with the emailer. Larry on protection said he’s been a cop
for 13 years, he said that as an instructor, it’s a practice to turn
your overhead lights off. Bubba said in all the DUI videos he’s seen,
he’s never heard the cop apologize for the mag lights, Larry said that
the lights have to go off, as their really bright. Bubba said that if
he’s wrong, then he’s wrong. Fred on protection said you never turn
your lights off, as it’s a safety issue, he said that as a FTO, he
would’ve failed the guy. John on protection said it depends on how the
agency does it, he said they never do FSTs in the road, he said he
watched the video, he said he would’ve ran Davis through some more
tests, he said that professional courtesy can only go so far. Bubba
said that he and Lasker were working on the Cream machine yesterday,
Spice sarcastically thinks this is the kind of dream Martin Luther
King had. They then went to commercials a few seconds later.

Segment 4 – Various Stuff

Coming out of commercials, we heard a promo for Early Enlistment,
followed by “Psycho” by Puddle of Mud. Rick in Sarasota asked what was
up with the music, Bubba said that seems to be what works, he said
they’re trying to hold on in Orlando. Jimmy in Orlando said the only
stations he listens to are 96.5 and 104.5, he’ll be listening to, he wonders when Bubba will leave regular radio, Bubba
said that by December of 2011, he should be retired from that, he then
thanked Rob from All Star Coaches, their website is:, he thinks that Spice will have a different mindset
on racing. Gene Lasker came on, he then asked about the music, he said
“this isn’t DJ weekends, quit”. Bubba said that he loves Sting Ray
Chevy; Gene said he enjoyed working there yesterday. Bubba took a call
from a guy who said he called when Spice said that racecar drivers
aren’t athletes, the guy said he went to a racing school; he said that
two days into it, he couldn’t lift a beer up at the bar. We then heard
a news clip about the Dad of the kids who were killed, Bubba said that
Manson has a new offering about Goliath Davis. We then heard a news
clip about Jeffrey Yaslowitz‘s witto talking about her husband, Bubba
thinks she shouldn’t be on TV at the moment, as he feels the media
will run it into the ground. They then went to commercials a few
seconds later.

Segment 5 – Various Callers

Coming out of commercials, we heard “Check My Brain” by Alice In
Chains. Bubba came on plugging the Meet and Greet at Blues BQ on Feb.
19, you can get meet and greets at Airport Chrysler Jeep. We then
heard Ned’s “Crazy Bitch”. Bubba thanked Steve Brown from Voodoo Raps.
Camerin said he’s about a mile away from Sting Ray. Bubba thanked The
Car Store for donating $2100. We then heard a news clip about Obama
quitting smoking, Bubba thinks Obama will be a bad mood, Spice said
that’s never good when the President smokes. Big Red in Charleston
asked if the guys know where they’ll be, Bubba said they don’t know
yet; the guy thinks Ned will just stay behind. Bubba said that Smart
phone shipments have outnumbered computers as far as delivery goes,
Manson said that’s great news for them, Brent said that Verizon sold
out of pre-order iPhone. We then heard a news clip about some kids who
got molested. They then went to commercials a few seconds later.

Segment 6 – Manson’s new Bit

Coming out of commercials, we heard a promo for Bubba’s appearance in
Orlando, followed by “All Summer Long” by Kid Rock. Bubba came on
talking about the dui video, he said that they’re the only form of
media that is holding Davis’s feet to the fire. We then heard Manson’s
new song about Goliath Davis, which parodies “you’re the Type Of Guy”
by LL Cool Jay, Bubba thinks they should put this song on the website,
he then said he can’t tell Twenty-five what he can say and what he
can’t. Joe in Lakeland asked why everyone is being punished for
Orlando, Bubba said that’s what they say works, he said he’s tried to
fight for the integrity of the show, he said he’s not sure if he wants
to continue to do this, he then asked or the Orlando audience to
listen to The Monsters, he said it’s everything you’re not supposed to
do in radio. Mark in Mellborn said he comes out of his house to enjoy
the show, Bubba said it is what it is. Jim in Canada came on saying
the iPhone is the way to go; he then gave a shoutout to the guys on
the show. Cory said that The Monsters are horrible, Bubba said they’re
fantastic. Will in Indiana said Bubba needs to get rid of the music,
Bubba told the guy to have another one. We then heard a news clip
about a pastor teaching kids about hardcore sex. Bubba said that he’s
gotten texts from several people, asking him to replay the Goliath
Davis song without stopping it. Pete in Orlando said he can’t believe
their messing with the show, he said he’s an advertiser. Miguel in
Orlando said The Monsters are like PG-13, while the Bubba show is R
rated. Rick in Ft. Meyers asked Bubba when he conformed to management,
he suggested Bubba tell them to take a flying leap, Bubba said he
couldn’t do that. We then heard a news clip about a woman took a drug
that was supposed to be an antibiotic; she was given another drug that
causes abortion. John on protection said his Brother used to work for
the St. Petersburg police department, he quit because of the Reverse
racism, he said Davis has sold people on a bill of goods, he then said
that supposedly, a woman’s car broke down, as she went into a police
station, she was raped, an officer patted her down after it happened.
John on protection said he’s one of the parents of the kids who
attended the class on hardcore sex; he said it’s a civil issue. Joe on
protection said he knows someone who works for Arbitron, saying that
their trying to push Bubba out of Orlando, Bubba said he can’t take
this particular phone call. We then heard the following its dealing
with abortion:

1. Manson’s “Sounds Like An Abortion” (“Bubba Show Classics Vol. 11”, track 10)
2. Ned’s “That’s Right I Said it – Abortion” (“Bubba Show Classics
Vol. 15”, track 19)

Bubba came on saying he had an idea for something, but it was shot
down, he said nobody takes them seriously. Larry on protection said he
owns a business, he doesn’t hire blacks, he said Goliath Davis is
telling you that the Blacks can’t take care of themselves, the guys
think he’s saying “White Power”, Spice then goofed on him. Chrystal in
Orlando said the abortion song rocks, she said that she works with
three girls who are pregnant who are dumb, she said she’s never heard
“Abortion City”, which we then heard. This bit appears on “Bubba Show
classics Vol. 1”, track 2. Bubba said that RJ in the Woods was on
hold, he said everyone wants to hear the Goliath Davis song. they then
went to commercials a few seconds later.

Segment 7 – Various Callers

Coming out of commercials, we heard “Welcome To Paradise” by Green
Day. We then heard RJ in The Woods’s bumper, RJ said that he’s in a
hotel at the moment, he said he’s been sober for 60 days, Bubba thinks
he’s not that good when he’s sober. RJ said that he loved the abortion
stuff, he said he’s been through four of them, Bubba said ne should’ve
worked on him. We then heard a news clip about a woman who had sex
with some students, Spice likes how no one has a bad thing to say
about her. Bubba then read an article about Anthony Lowery, the
Lakeland street preacher who got arrested for being too loud, but no
decibel readings were taken. Jared came on asking about music, Bubba
said he’s not taking any more calls, he then said that Jimmy hart
walked out of TNA, and there’s a possibility that Hogan went with him,
Spice wonders how you can piss off Jimmy. They then went to
commercials a few seconds later.

Segment 8 – Hulk Hogan Calls in

Coming out of commercials, we heard “Lying From You” from Linkin Park.
Bubba came on saying Twenty-five has the right to say whatever he’d
like to say, we then heard Twenty-five’s rap about Goliath Davis.
Bubba took a call from a guy who said he liked the abortion gift card
idea. Steve in Tennessee said he’s behind Bubba on this Goliath Davis
situation. Bubba took a call from a guy who said he used to drive past
the street preacher, he said while it was annoying, it’s less annoying
than a homeless guy looking for change. Eric in Orlando wished Spice a
late happy Birthday. Sean in Orlando said he looked at Howard’s
Twitter last night, Bubba said he follows him, he then tried to called
up Hogan, but got sent to voicemail. Bubba then called the home
number, Hogan picked up a few seconds later, a clip of his old footage
was heard in the background, Spice thinks Hogan is turning into him.
Bubba asked about what happened at TNA, Hogan said he hasn’t talked to
Jimmy hart lately, he said he’ll be running the company after march 3,
Bubba said if they bring him back, they need to bring him back as
someone who has real heat, he said that he thrives on getting booed
and heckled. Hogan thinks Thursday would be a great day to do the side of things, he said the last time he did a show, he
blew out (April 12, 2010). They then ended the show a few seconds

    Bubba. I’m going through withdrawal because I could only listen to you on Sirius. My son found some cd’s and dvd’s of your older shows and I’ve about worn them out. Sure hope Howard is working toward getting you back!!
