Polk Co. deputies seek four burglary suspects

Surveillance cameras captured the suspects as they moved around the storage facility.

(BTLS Staff) LAKELAND, Fla. – Investigators with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and apprehending four burglary suspects.

The crime occurred on February 17th between 12:30 and 3:30 am at the Socrum Self-Storage facility located at 9010 US Highway 98 North in Lakeland.

According to a Polk County Sheriff’s Office report the suspects broke into approximately 40 separate storage units. The report states the four men cut the fence surrounding the business and removed the locks.

The suspects were all wearing dark-colored clothing and hooded sweatshirts. Detectives found a stolen U-Haul trailer nearby and believe it may have been used in the crime.
