Pennsylvania father-to-be offered cash to kill unborn child

Frazier, 22, is facing a solicitation to commit homicide charge.


(WPXI.COM) PITTSBURGH, Pa. – A Pittsburgh-area man was arrested early Tuesday morning on charges that he tried to hire someone to kill his ex-girlfriend’s unborn child.

According to the criminal complaint, John Frazier, 22, offered a babysitter $100 to assault his pregnant ex-girlfriend, so she would have a miscarriage and lose the child.

“You don’t want an abortion or adoption, so I guess I’ll be in jail,” Frazier told his ex, according to the criminal complaint.
Police in Stowe Township said Frazier admitted “to offering the babysitter $100 to assault his ex, causing her to lose their child.”

Authorities told Channel 11’s Renee Kaminski that Frazier was arrested overnight and arraigned at 4 am. Tuesday.

He is charged with criminal solicitation to commit homicide and terroristic threats.
