Palmetto Police issue alert on missing teenage girls

Lizbeth was last seen around 11 am on Thursday.

(BTLS Staff) PALMETTO, Fla. – Authorities in Manatee County are asking for the public’s help in locating a pair of missing teenager girls.

Lizbeth Urbano, 12, and Jy’Kia Spinner, 13, were last seen at approximately 11 am Thursday.

According to a Palmetto Police Department report the girls are students at Lincoln Middle School. Lizbeth and Jy’Kia are believed to be together and the last contact anyone made with them was near the school.

The girls have not contacted family or friends and are not believed to be in any immediate danger.

Lizbeth is a Hispanic female with a medium complexion and medium-length, dark brown hair. She stands 4’6” tall and weighs 80 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, gym shorts and white Nike high-top tennis shoes.

She was carrying a purple and green back pack.

Jy’Kia is a black female with a dark complexion and medium-length, black hair. She stands 5’1” tall and weighs 123 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black Capri pants with a black hooded sweatshirt.
