Jackson, 24, appeared in an Indiana courtroom on Monday.

(KCTV5.COM) HONOLULU, Hawaii – A 24-year old woman will be brought back to Hawaii to face a first degree murder charge.

Alisa ‘Lisa’ Jackson appeared in an Indiana courtroom Monday morning.   She is the so-called, ‘other woman’ in a love triangle that allegedly resulted in the death of a soldier’s wife.

Court documents say she will remain in jail until extradition because she is considered a danger to the community and a flight risk.

Cathy Walker, 38, was found dead in her own home on the Aliamanu Military Reservation on November 15, 2014. Her throat had been slashed.

Her husband, Mike Walker, found her lifeless body and suspicion immediately turned to him.

The 36-year-old Army medic admitted to arguing with his wife before heading to Tripler Army Medical Center, but he is not considered a suspect in the stabbing.

Cathy’s best friend, who asked to remain anonymous says she is grateful that there has been an arrest, five months later.

“In our hearts, we are just thankful that answers are coming,” she says, “This huge puzzle that has been in everyone’s mind… the answers are being put together.”

The friend, like so many others, thought the Walkers had a picture-perfect marriage.

But during the federal investigation into Cathy’s death, it was revealed that Mike was having an affair with the 24-year-old Jackson, who lived in the same neighborhood.

Lisa Jackson recently moved to Fort Wayne, Ind. That’s where she was arrested over the weekend.

Court documents say Jackson willfully, deliberately, maliciously, and with premeditation stabbed Cathy to death.

Because the crime happened on military property, federal prosecutors could seek the death penalty.

While Mike Walker is not a suspect, sources say investigators are looking into the possibility that he may have had prior knowledge of the crime.
