Gould, 28, was booked into the Monroe County Jail on an attempted murder charge.

(Buffalo News) WEBSTER, NY – A Rochester woman faces an attempted murder charge after police said she tried to electrocute her boyfriend in a bathtub with an alarm clock.

Investigators said 28-year old Alicia Gould tried to kill her boyfriend at a Super 8 Motel in Webster last Friday.

Gould put an alarm clock into the bathtub while her boyfriend was in it, police said.

He was not injured because of a ground fault interrupter that stopped the electrical current.
Gould is being held in Monroe County jail on $20,000 bail.
