Kansas teen arrested for putting rubbing alcohol in teacher’s coffee

(KAKE.COM) WICHITA, Kansas – A 14-year-old was taken into custody Thursday for allegedly putting rubbing alcohol into teachers’ coffee.
It happened just before 9 am. Thursday at Hamilton Middle School, located at 1407 South Broadway.
A 58-year-old school employee poured a cup of coffee from the pot in the teacher’s lounge, and realized something was wrong after tasting it.
The man spit the coffee out and alerted administrators. He was not injured.
Police officers later located and arrested a 14-year-old suspect. He was taken to a juvenile facility and is facing charges of criminal threat and aggravated battery.
