Dubay's drug problems came to light in 2008 when he was caught throwing crack cocaine out a car window.

(KARE11.COM) COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. – Troubled former radio host Jeff Dubay was arrested Wednesday for suspected possession of methamphetamine after being pulled over for speeding.

The South Washington County News reports that a search of Dubay’s vehicle turned up a bag with traces of a substance believed to be meth and two hypodermic needles. He was booked into the Washington County Jail, where he remained as of 2 pm. Thursday.

Dubay was one half of KFAN’s popular sports talk duo “PA and Dubay” until October of 2008, when he was busted throwing crack cocaine and a crack pipe out the window of his car while being pulled over by police. Dubay was fired and soon entered treatment, but was unable to complete two separate stints trying to get clean. He failed at least a dozen drug tests and failed to show up for nearly as many. Dubay was then sentenced to serve 180 days in the Hennepin County workhouse.
