‘Emr the Jester’ arrested on child pornography charges

(BTLS Staff) PINELLAS PARK – A 34-year-old Pinellas Park man is behind bars following his arrest Tuesday on child pornography charges.

Peter Douglas Emr is in the Pinellas County Jail where he is being held on a bond of $320,000. Over 400 images of children as young as three months engaged in various sexual acts including bondage.

The suspect is a Bay area performer known as ‘Emr the Jester,’ a character that does puppet shows, paints faces and makes balloon animals for children.

According to a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office report investigators received a tip that Emr was in possession of multiple pornographic pictures of children. Detectives with the department’s Special Victim’s Unit began their investigation and executed a search warrant at the suspect’s home in the 8000 block of 72nd St. North.

They seized approximately 430 images. Emr was charged with six counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of sexual performance with intent to promote.

During an interview with detectives Emr confessed to the charges the report states.

Folks living in the suspects neighborhood reported seeing him dressed up as the Chik-Fil-A cow for a kid’s party.
