Eagles safety Nate Allen detained, released by police following incident at restaurant
(NBC 10.COM) FT. MYERS, Fla. – Philadelphia Eagles safety Nate Allen was questioned by police in Fort Myers, Florida Monday night after accusations were levied against him by a teenage girl, according to Comcast SportsNet.
Citing an unnamed source, CSNPhilly reported a 16-year-old girl accused the 27-year-old Eagle of committing indecent exposure. But, the accuser apparently changed her story several times over the course of the police investigation so Allen was released.
Allen told CSNPhilly reporters that “someone definitely lied” and that he vowed to clear his name.
Preliminary reports out of Florida said Allen had been arrested.
Born in Fort Myers, Allen attended high school in Cape Coral, Florida. He has played for the Eagles since 2010.
