Deputies seek suspect that broke into Jimmy’s Grill in Port Charlotte
(BTLS Staff) PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Authorities in Charlotte County are asking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a burglary suspect.
The unidentified man broke into Jimmy’s Grill in the 2600 block of Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte in the early morning hours of March 12th. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office report deputies responded to an alarm call from the eatery when they discovered a back window had been pried open. The owner of the establishment was called to the scene and discovered the missing money.
CCSO detectives obtained surveillance video that showed a man dressed in white or light-colored clothing wearing glasses. The suspect was also sporting a beard and at times his face was concealed by something white.
