The unidentified man walked into a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Murdock last month and departed the store with a large TV set in a shopping cart.

He forgot just one minor detail – to pay for it.

According to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office report the suspect entered the store just after 7 am on December 14th. He dropped off a broken LCD TV in a large box at the customer service center.

A short time later surveillance cameras show the man with a TV valued at almost $500 in a shopping cart. He bypasses customer service and exits the store.

He was last seen getting into a dark-colored Sports Utility Vehicle and leaving the parking lot. If you have any information on the man’s identity, please contact CCSO at 941-639-2101 or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 800-780-8477.
