Deputies: CF man offered teenage girls drugs for sex; facing charges
(WFTV.COM) ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Seminole County deputies arrested a man they said gave two teenage girls money and prescription drugs so he could have sex with them.
Ricardo Pombo-Foster, 55, of Altamonte Springs, is facing 15 counts of producing child pornography, 18 counts of possessing child pornography and four counts of lewd or lascivious battery on a child.
The alleged sexual abuse happened over a six-month period at Pombo-Foster’s former home in unincorporated Winter Park, deputies said.
The suspect’s former neighbor said he’s worried Pombo-Foster may have been watching young girls at the apartment complex’s pool.
“It’s a little scary, especially for the young girls that don’t know any better,” said Nick Bakerjian.
While interviewing the victims, detectives learned Pombo-Foster had also taken pictures and videos on his cellphone of the girls engaging in sexual activity with him.
The victims told deputies the alleged crimes happened between July and November of last year.
Investigators have not said where the suspect met the girls or how he got the prescription pills.
Pombo-Foster has held a pharmacy tech license since December 2009 that is still active.
Pombo-Foster is being held at the Seminole County Jail in lieu of a $1,175,000 bond.
Investigators believe they have identified all victims involved, but ask anyone with information on more possible victims to call the Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit at 407-665-6650.
