(BTLS Staff report) TAMPA – Country music phenom Colt Ford made an appearance on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show on Wednesday.
On Sunday he will be performing at Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia.

The acoustic concert will feature some of his biggest hits mixed in with some Christmas favorites. Ford will also hold a meet and greet with his fans following the show.

The event is a celebration of Ford’s first concert DVD which was filmed at the theme park in July. ‘Crank It Up! Colt Ford Live at Wild Adventures,’ is a 129-minute film showing the musician and his band performing 20 of their hits.

He talked to Bubba about his career and some future projects he’s working on.

“I’ve been blessed,” Ford explained. “I have to thank people like you for playing me, supporting me, the fans….it’s all good.”

Ford enjoys the music, enjoys playing and interacting with folks who love his music.

Also in July Ford released ‘Thanks For Listening,’ which rapidly worked its way up the country music charts. He’s already working on tunes for his next record. Ford, a former professional golfer, also enjoys getting out on the links during down time.

He also talked about being on the road with Toby Keith.

“I’ve paid to see Toby probably more than any other artist,” Ford said. “I was trying to pick his brain, learning how to do things the right way. It was a learning experience and a lot of fun.”
