The Hog? The Power Pig? The Arrow? What will it be?

(WTSP.COM) TAMPA, Fla. – Bubba the Love Sponge and the Beasley Broadcasting Group have come to an agreement on the format for the BTLS’s new home – 98.7 FM WHFS — and will make the announcement during the 9 am. hour of his show on Monday, Feb. 2.

Bubba and his crew – Manson, 25 Cent and Nedley Mandingo III – returned to the Tampa airwaves last month following a four-month hiatus.

The St. Petersburg-based station has been replaying the BTLS 6-10 am. morning show the rest of the day as Bubba and Beasley went back and forth about its direction.

“It’s unlike anything else that’s ever been done before,” explained Bubba when discussing what the other elements of the station will be.

All this week, listeners have heard possible format options and station nicknames. Bubba and his crew have solicited feedback over the airwaves and through social media.

The Bubba Radio Network is based in Tampa and is heard on 10 stations from West Palm Beach to Reno, Nevada.

Love the idea of BUBBA 98.7

I hope it will stream on Tunein, as I live in Ohio. Been a fan since Howard 101.

    You rock

    Bubba and the boys,
Great job with the new station, format, etc. Emailed the bone a few months back about the enormous mistake they made getting rid of Bubba. And I’m sure I’m not alone.

Keep doing what youre doing. Cowturd and Drew suck!!!
