Bubba around the clock on 98.7 FM with new format
(WTSP.COM) TAMPA, Fla. – Bubba is back, and he has a new show format.
On Monday. Bubba the Love Sponge and the Beasley Broadcasting Group announced the format for his new home on 98.7 FM.
Bubba will be the first local radio host to have his own radio station named after him, called “WBRN Bubba 98.7.”
Bubba and his crew – Manson, 25 Cent and Nedley Mandingo III – returned to the Tampa airwaves last month following a four-month hiatus.
“It’s unlike anything else that’s ever been done before,” explained Bubba when discussing what the other elements of the station will be.
Last week, listeners have heard possible format options and station nicknames. Bubba and his crew have solicited feedback over the airwaves and through social media.
The Bubba Radio Network is based in Tampa and is heard on 10 stations from West Palm Beach to Reno, Nevada.
