Sofia Anderson was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in January.

(BTLS Staff) INDIAN ROCKS BEACH, Fla. – A Bay area child is in need and the community is rallying to support the Anderson family of Indian Rocks Beach.

Seven weeks ago Catalina Anderson noticed a bruise over the eye of her two-year-old daughter Sofia. When she took her to the doctor she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer – Neuroblastoma.

Friends of Catalina and her husband Patrick have taken to social media to get the word out about Sofia. On Tuesday, March 24th, the Ker’s Winghouse location at 6445 4th St. North in St. Petersburg will host a fund raiser for the family.

It’s called ‘Give Back the Night for Sofia.’ Two dollars from every appetizer sold that day will go towards the little girl’s medical bills.

The event starts at 6 pm.

A GoFundMe Account has been set up and has collected over $57,000 worldwide so far. Click here to help Team Sofia.
