Alert issued for missing, elderly Zephyrhills woman

Edith Merle Hill-Williams walked away from the Wellsprings ALS just after lunch on Tuesday.

(BTLS Staff) ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Authorities in Zephyrhills are asking for the public’s help in locating a disabled elderly woman.

Edith Merle Hill-Williams, 62, walked away from her assisted living facility just after noon on Tuesday.

According to a Zephyrhills Police Department report the missing woman is diabetic, schizophrenic and bi-polar. She is in need of medication and was last seen in the vicinity of Tampa General Hospital on Wednesday the report states.

Hill-Williams stands 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. She was wearing a camouflage scrub top, blue jeans and black and orange ‘crocs.’

Investigators say she departed the Wellsprings ALS in the 37000 block of 15th Ave. shortly after lunch.
