TAMPA -- Senator Hillary Clinton plans to make campaign appearances in Florida September 8th for her former rival, Barack Obama.

Clinton's last visit to Florida was August 21st when the former democratic presidential hopeful visited Palm Beach and Broward County. The times and locations for Monday's appearances have not yet been announced.

Florida State director of the Obama campaign, Steve Schale said, "We look forward to Senator Clinton discussing the Obama tax relief plan, which will grant a $1,000 dollar rebate to help families pay for the cost of gas and provide a real tax cut for 95 percent of all Americans."

ABC Action News has learned a rumored appearance by Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin at the Tampa Convention Center this coming Monday will not take place.
