The teachers of South McKeel Elementary need your help! After Heather's unfortunate passing, the teachers featured in the video linked to the left alongside Heather Rimmer need the Bubba Army's help to CATAPULT their way to #1. They want to win this contest in honor of Heather Rimmer, may she rest in peace.
The contest was held at a technology conference that the 5 teachers were able to attend this summer in San Antonio, Texas. NECC attendees were able to film a 15-30 second commercial on stage at the ResponseCard® AnyWhere booth during the convention. The commercial was to sell ResponseCard® product and then voting would be opened up for each submission online for visitors to the website to vote for their favorites.
Hello. I am a friend and colleague of Heather Rimmer's, and along with everyone who loved her...which A LOT of people...am still reeling from her death. Several of my students mentioned that Heather's mom, Bonnie, was on your show this morning, and I am sorry that I missed it! I did want to ask you for some help though. Five of us teachers from South McKeel- Heather Crosser, Suzanne Williams, Kristen Heywood, Heather Rimmer and myself, had the opportunity to attend a technology conference in San Antonio this summer. One day we were asked to film a commercial for a vendor at the conference for a contest on their website. We did it...making TOTAL fools of ourselves...and really didn't think much more about it. Now however, with Heather's passing...we've decided that we really want to WIN...in honor of her!!!We started this little campaign...sending out emails...on Thursday...taking our vote count from 65 or so to 1396 right now, putting us in fourth place. But the lead! ers havewell over 9000 votes!!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help us win!!!If you plugged this...I know we could blow it out of the water!!!One vote per computer per day...and we have until October 15. We would never have even cared before...but we all really want to do this for her!!
