Bubba, you are the refreshing drink of reality in a desert of idiocracy. And I thank you.

I believe if someone on welfare tests positive for drugs they should not be completely denied benefits. This has been tried and failed in many states. In Washington State they have programs for adults with and without children to get help with their drug addiction and still receive benefits. However while in treatment that do not ever get a lump sum of money. They get a small amount each week of the month and have a payee that pays their bills for them. Cutting people off is not the answer, treating the problem is. Most people on welfare are addicts or are professional system users and baby factories, which is a completely different story.

To hell with that jd I believe that people on welfare should have drug test if you test positive for any type of drug then you should be denied America has tried for years to give help to those people who are hooked on drugs it does no good they say they want help then they do the complete opposite I’m sick and tired of having to pay for these people who are on welfare while in the mean time I struggle from month to month like the rest of society that bust their ass every day to make a living the way it was intended to be done. So with that being said kiss my ass with all of your shiz. Your one of those guys that probably want the illegals to have a chance at going to college for free as well ha screw that.

Here’s why Rick (“Let’s get to work”) Scott loses popularity. This is a discussion on Republican governors meet secretly with the Big Oil Koch brothers within the Conspiracy Theories, hosted by conservative billionaire GOP donors David and Charles Koch. Florida Gov. Rick Scott attended a secret, invitation-only meeting outside Vail, Colo., hosted by conservative billionaire GOP donors David and Charles Koch, and the governor’s staff. If you want to get laid, go to college. if you want to learn something, go to a library. Frank Zappa. The meeting wasn’t on Scott’s official schedule and his spokesman Lane Wright initially refused to confirm or deny whether the first-term governor would make an appearance, saying he would not speculate as to what he has done, or will do on his personal time. So, the criminal governor met with his corporate masters. They gotta pay him back for all the scratch he is throwing their way (and his own of course). The criminal governor has no interest in actually governing, but just wants to squeeze all he can out if the state before abandoning it. America is a ponzi scheme to these Repuglicans. Where’s those job’s Fla.Gov. Scott?.

President Obama Can Punish GOP with Default. It’s not that government will stop just 41 percent of government. The coming political battle may be over which 41 percent is going to get defunded. There will be no default. Social Security checks can go out. The military will be funded. Even most of the costs of Medicare could be reimbursed. Rather, because 41 cents of every $1 spent by the federal government is borrowed, about 41 percent of government will not be paid for. The rest is covered by tax receipts. Unfortunately, because the decision as to who and what gets paid is left to the president and his people, it is more than likely that the politics of the situation might cause them to choose not to send out Social Security checks or pay Medicare. This would give them the double benefit of enraging seniors, whose rage the president’s party would adeptly (with the assistance of NPR) direct at the Republicans while continuing to fund their favored departments such as Labor and Transportation that take care of their issues and friends. CUT GOP SPENDING, raise the Debt Ceiling, and, TAX the wealthy a slight bit more tax, simple.

House Speaker John Boehner abruptly broke off talks with President Barack Obama on a deal to cut spending and avert a threatened government default, sending compromise efforts into a crisis state. Within minutes, an obviously peeved Obama virtually ordered congressional leaders to the White House for a Saturday meeting on raising the nation’s debt limit. “We’ve got to get it done. It is not an option not to do it,” he said.

Can you be against Big Government and not press for reductions in the vast military budgets, fraught with bureaucratic and large contractors’ waste, fraud and abuse? Military spending now takes up half of the federal government’s operating budgets. The libertarian Cato Institute believes that to cut deficits, we have to also cut the defense budget. Can you believe in the free market and not condemn hundreds of billions of dollars of corporate welfare-bailouts, subsidies, handouts, and giveaways?. You want less taxation and lower deficits. How can you succeed unless you stop big corporations from escaping their fair share of taxes by manipulating foreign jurisdictions against our tax laws, for example, or by letting trillions of dollars of speculation on Wall Street go without any sales tax, while you pay six, seven or eight percent sales tax on the necessities you buy in stores?. Can you be for law and order and not support a bigger and faster crackdown on the corporate crime wave, that needs more prosecutors and larger enforcement budgets to stop the stealing of taxpayers and consumer dollars so widely reported in the Wall Street Journal and Business Week?.

“Raise the Debt Ceiling and tax the rich”. If we don’t do that, it’s going to be Lehman on steroids, it’s going to be financial Armageddon. Here’s a clear case why the GOP want to tax the middle-class to death, and, at the same time allow BIG BUSINESS to use off shore tax safe havens and pay “NO TAXES”. Do some math here. $32.5 TRILLION in TOTAL WEALTH was created in the markets since 2009. Guess what, NO ONE paid any taxes nor created any job’s with this money. All their monies and gold went to off shore tax safe havens. Then they dump those taxes onto the “Middle Class” to pay them. That’s “EQUAL RIGHTS”, right?. That’s taxing fairly?. Not in my book. The Patriot Act’s money laundering provisions, where are they today?. The tobacco industry feared The Patriot Act so Rep. Michael Oxley removed a provision involving money laundering from the bill at the behest of the White House and GOP whip Tom DeLay, under pressure from Big Tobacco. More loopholes that allow qualifying Institutions to still serve as conduits for Tax Evasion that report nothing to the IRS for collection. Is this fair taxing to the poor and middleclass ?. “WHO IN CONGRESS” wrote a amendment to add this “BACK” into The Patriot Act to date?. “NO-ONE”, that’s who. CLOSE this loophole, and raise taxes on the rich.

The Super Rich Delusion is an addiction that requires a painful detox. Social Security is not an abstract concept. It is not a series of numbers on a chart. It is life and death to one out of five senior citizens over 65. For all the retired it represents about 40% of their income and for current, about-to-retire seniors, it may well be more than half their livelihood. It’s not a game. It’s not amusing or irrelevant. For some people retiring now and in the next few years, Social Security may represent the vast majority of their income. So what did Reagan and his boys do? The gang-that-couldn’t-count-straight decided that here was a pile of money they could steal to make themselves look better. And so they did. They took $84.5 billion from Social Security surpluses and spent it. They spent all of it in order to cut the size of the public debt. Fast forward to George H. W. Bush. He had deficits between 1989 and 1992. Next came Clinton, who tried to do something about the deficits, which is about all that can be said for him. In 8 years, the Bush Jr. Administration spent every single penny of the Social Security surplus, using it like a piggy bank to give huge tax breaks to individuals and to corporations, to start wars, to give lucrative government contracts far beyond their value to friends and associates. They all steal from the poor and middle-class and give it to the rich?.
